Code of Conduct
Our leaders including all staff and volunteers are asked to sign a code of conduct, which influences the way they do ministry.
They also undertake appropriate training in their ministry and are encouraged to undertake first aid training if deemed necessary due to the nature of their ministry.
The Anglican Church Diocese of Melbourne provides detailed information and requirements for leaders (particularly relating to the care of children and youth). St Hilary's & St Silas Anglican Church leaders abide by these guidelines. Guidelines are in a number of documents: "Duty of Care", "Leader recruitment, Screening, Support and Identification", "Emergencies, Confidentiality & Safety", and "Appropriate Interaction, Hygiene, Food Handling, Toileting and Pastoral Care".
